Executive Community Sponsor is an organization that supports MWA for the entire year, not just at the lunch event. We also work with them to showcase their organization during our very popular Ramadan Rush for Rewards campaign so they get even more visibility. This role is a partnership with MWA to help meet the needs of the community.

Zakat Chicago has been our Executive Community Sponsor in 2012.  Zakat Chicago is an organization focused on the LOCAL collection and LOCAL distribution of zakat funds.  Zakat Chicago encourages our community to donate a portion of Zakat locally and help our Muslim neighbors in need, for example  with funding food pantries, women’s abuse shelters,and refuge programs right here in Illinois.
